Cactus Moon Collective is a Tampa-based creative company specializing in markets, retail, events, plants, and creative marketing—bringing people together through community-driven experiences. From producing some of Tampa Bay's favorite local markets to operating a neighborhood gift shop, designing lush plant spaces, and helping small businesses tell their stories, everything we do is rooted in creativity and community.

Our founder, Crystal Desilet, spent 15 years in the corporate world as an event planner and brand manager, leading national campaigns for brands including Tito's Vodka, Rex Goliath Wines, Nabisco, Igloo, the Firestone Grand Prix, and more. While building her corporate career, she launched Cactus Moon in 2016 as a passion project, selling plants and botanical arrangements at local markets and festivals.

What began as a plant business quickly evolved into something much bigger. In 2018, Crystal began producing her own Tampa Makers Markets, creating opportunities for local artists, makers, growers, and small businesses to connect with shoppers in welcoming neighborhood spaces. As the events continued to grow, she left the corporate world to pursue her vision full-time, founding her own creative events company and producing markets, private events, and brand activations throughout the Tampa Bay area.

In 2020, Crystal opened the beloved Cactus Moon plant shop in Seminole Heights; a magical space that was equal parts plant boutique, creative gathering place, and event venue. Complete with an enchanted garden, the shop became home to workshops, live music, pop-up markets, art shows, plant lovers, and countless community gatherings. For four years, it served as a place where everyone felt welcome.

When the building was unexpectedly sold in 2024, Cactus Moon was forced to close its doors. While it was the end of one chapter, it also became the beginning of another.

Later that year, Crystal opened The Brass Key, Historic Ybor City's neighborhood gift shop. Located on one of Ybor's most vibrant blocks of locally owned businesses, The Brass Key is a thoughtfully curated shop featuring local art, vintage finds, houseplants, unique gifts, and handcrafted goods from independent artists and makers. The shop continues the spirit of Cactus Moon, creating a welcoming place where people can discover something special while supporting Tampa's creative community.

Today, Cactus Moon Collective serves as the umbrella for all of Crystal's creative ventures. Our work includes:

• Operating The Brass Key, Ybor City's local art, vintage, and gift shop 
• Plant styling, installations, and maintenance for homes and businesses 
• Social media management, photography, content creation, and brand marketing for local businesses
